Fl-Air came when my A/C was not cooling and Mark offered a solution to get it going. Did not press or use any tactics to scare me into a new unit. Really, the unit was over 20 years old and needed to be replaced. I got several quotes and spent so much time researching the cost of a new replacement. I was impressed with the courtesy and efficiency on the service call, so I scheduled my install with Fl-Air. I couldn’t be happier with my new A/C and I am thoroughly pleased with the service I received. Mark really went above and beyond what any other company would have done and did it all with a smile! My maintenance ended with a large outfit who rigged my 1 year old AC to leak which started leaking 1 week after my annual maintenance and then tried to get repetitive business to fix things that were not broken at an outrageous cost so I started looking elsewhere and found Mark. Mark spotted the issue and fixed my AC leak in no time with an honest and logical explanation without trying to sell me on things that were not needed so right there he earned my future business. He also quoted me a reasonable price on a duct work issue I have where the AC is not flowing upstairs properly. Other people tried to up-sell me with expensive add ons that are likely to break and cause more issues down the road. Mark came up with a better approach that is more reasonable and won’t cause me future problems like many of the other ideas. Definitely an honest and reasonable business man who has earned my future business.

Woke up to no air flow in the house, a frosted over compressor outside, and an air handler blower motor that was letting out a death rattle. Well, the owner of the company was downright honest on what the house needed, he and his guys delivered in spades…. My ductwork was 95% destroyed ( we found out yesterday a squirrel was getting in, the squirrel is no longer in this world….) and did massive damage to my ductwork, i din’t even know how my new house was cooling. The house cool faster and better, he set it in a way were i get more cool air to the rooms i needed the most. They did and excellent job i highly recommend this company and mind you i don’t speak highly on anyone unless they deserved it, i don’t kiss ass. the work was excellent and they did exactly what i was quoted for. I recommend this company. but like always i say have multiple quotes.

I called FL-Air Heating & Cooling for an estimate on a dryer vent cleaning. They were able to schedule me the same week and Mark, the technician, arrived within the specified time window. Mark checked the indoor vents and the roof and discovered they weren’t the issue, but it was likely my dryer causing the problem. Also, there was a horrible storm in the area the day of my service which prevented Mark from being able to fully service my unit the way that he’d like to. But he got me going with refrigerant and scheduled a follow up service. I would highly recommend his company and his service.

I cannot say enough AMAZING things about this company!!! Jacob installed our new Nest thermostat today. A couple hours after he left it turned off and I was getting an error message that the power wires weren’t connected. I called him and he came back to find that our system wasn’t draining properly. He taught us about our system and how to fix this in the future but we will definitely be calling them whenever we need something done on our system!!! We had a problem with our AC not blowing cold air after 1 hour of it turned on and noticed ice build up inside the air handler. Ryan came out in the slotted time they gave and was very professional and helpful. Mark Lang and his crew are truly the best professional HVAC company I have dealt with in decades. I have owned homes up and down the east coast and have had to deal with HVAC issues at all of them. We knew our system was at its end of life and finally it happened. The evaporator on our 3rd story finally bit the dust. I had already pretty much made up my mind to go with another highly reputable firm when I reached out to Mark to see if he was interested in what I had going with a very competitive bidding war. He said yes and I welcomed him out. No only did he send his estimate in less than a day, what I saw for good brand units was incredibly aggressive. I picked apart his proposal from top to bottom, he was very clear that there would be no hidden costs and that his estimate was his word. I went with a new company. What I witnessed then was the most masterful, well mannered, highly disciplined crew of people come into our home to do their work. The guys are buttoned down and know exactly what they are doing. They replaced two zones, air handlers, hurricane package, sensors with safety off switches, they tore out our old wooden platform which one company said, “Oh you should just keep this, you don’t need air braces”. I went with the air braces for aesthetics as well as more stability. Mark then showed me the platform they removed. It was beginning to rot and I made the correct choice. There are all kinds of HVAC companies out there. As far as I am concerned, FL-AIR is my company choice for ever.

Came home from my grocery shopping to a hot home. I called another company about 2pm and had a service scheduled between 8-9pm. By 9:30 at night and a steamy 85 degrees no one arrived. I called to see if they were still coming and was told she scheduled incorrectly and the tech could no longer come out that night. Here it is on a Sunday night, the day before the 1st day of school . After jumping on Thumbtack and sending a request at about 10:30pm Mark came to our rescue. Got to my house when he said he would, called me 20 minutes before arrival to let me know he was on the way. Came out at 12:30 and left at 1:30 am and I had cold ac again. Mark took the time to explain to my husband what he was doing as he was doing it. He was honest, punctual and even came back the next day to do some checking in and make sure everything was still working properly. Mark will be the only one we call for now on and I highly recommend the company should you have a need for ac repair or maintenance or just need to have a knowledgeable person to assist you.

The ONLY AC company I will use from now on
This is the ONLY AC company I will use from now on. Called Mark up to get a quote on a new system because my current system is a 10yr old Trane but has never worked as expected since I moved in 5 yrs ago. I’ve done bi-annual maintenance, filter changes monthly and had 3 separate AC companies provide maintenance over the 5 years with at least 6 different service techs. All said the unit was working as expected and was in good shape. I’ve never been able to keep the house in the late summer afternoon heat under 78-80 degrees. We tried to never use the oven in the summer because it would heat the house to over 80 degrees. When Mark stopped by, instead of talking price/units and what he could provide, he simply asked what was wrong and went out to check the unit. Literally within 15 minutes, he said he thought the system might be wired wrong and it wasn’t hitting the second speed. Within 1.5 hours, he re-wired the condenser, the air handler/furnace, and the thermostat. My AC is now working as designed and my home has never been more comfortable. I’m getting 58-60 degrees out of my supply vents now. Previously, I was getting 68-73 degrees. Sorry Trane, I was badmouthing your product for years because I thought it was subpar and because 3 separate companies said it was working as designed. Mark mentioned a lot of techs don’t understand the more complex design of Tranes and it needs to be done correctly right from the start. Mark, you are a life saver and your company is the only one I WILL EVER USE!
